"Longlive" Cursed a Wise Sorcerer

A long time ago,

a wise sorcerer once told me

that every night, from then on,

I will soundlessly

fall asleep

and have a peacefully

lucid dream

of a far better world.

That night...

I fell asleep

soundlessly.

The following night...

I dreamt

peacefully

of a world

far better.

This night...

just like every other night

for the last century

my wretched gift

will, once again, be unwrapped.

I will soundlessly

fall asleep

and have a peacefully

lucid dream

of nothing.
