Lost

I’m constantly lost at sea.
I know who the captain is
And I know the ship I’m in.
But I don’t know these waters.
The tides are guiding me
Pulling me
Yanking me
To unknown depths.
I do not know this wind
Nor this spray.
I know there are other boats
Willing to rescue me.
But my call is too weak.
I don’t know the codes
Or how to signal distress.
My map was lost a long time ago
But it’s too late to abandon ship.
Where do I go?
