The Love of God

A melody sung

For the bells are long rung

Chyming O' glory

Retelling this story

The cross reminding

The grave inviting

A rebel a thief

A message so true

No martyr will rue

To have suffered all loss

For the sake of the cross

The love of God changes man

And in His glorious plan

He rescues the dead

Taking on the dread

Of sin and death

Giving new breath

To rebels and thieves

Reconciling to Christ

Inheriting new life

The love of God changes man

So firm he will stand

Pure in a world that can't

preaching to sinful beings

Because the blind are now seeing

Because the dead are now breathing

And when this story finally begins

In glory we will see a beginning with no ends

As children and heirs
