mask man

mask man

A mask man walking through life.
he smirks at all of its strife.
And some may ask why he smiles at lies.
But in answer he covers his eyes.

For you see this mask man's face can be seen.
Tis his mask he covers away.
For who can be trusted less than the world.
To not get up but just stay.

he is alone, lone as a wolf.
Whose pack has left in distain.
For the weak are forgotten and given to Death.
Unless he shows no pain.

So the mask is what's hidden.
his face shields the kept truth within.
For a smile works much better than plaster.
At hiding the anguish, deep in sin.
