McDonald's

In the grey bustling city,

A yellow taxi drives past the big “M” of McDonald’s,

Catching the aroma of hamburgers and French fries in its tailwind

And sent the smell to me from across the street.

Pangs of hunger attack my stomach;

There seemed to be no break in traffic, should I risk it?

Would it be worth it? Food is always worth it.

Lifting my knees and extending my legs, I ran like a dog was at my heels

All the way to the safety of the building with the big “M”

And I am lovin’it.
