Missing You

I wonder what you were like.

My father's father, cast away from the light.

I never met you like I wish I have

You never heard me talk or seen me walk

We never had a chance to sit together and laugh.

The more I want to know about you the less reluctant people seem

I wish i had the chance to even know you

See the way you made the family gleam

It's hard to write someone you know will never write back

But the more I think about who you were

I can understand the essence that everyone was missing back
