Morning

Bright sun rise
In my face, in my eyes
When I tell the world the lie

That I'm ready for the day

Move on
With a stretch and a yawn
Sing a little song

Hurry up or you'll be late

Still tired
Caffeine inspired
Subtract the eight required

Yes I promise I'm awake

But you know just what to say

Head on out the door
Don't worry no more
Things will sort themselves
I still feel compelled

To hop back in bed
You heard what I said
The sun will always rise again
