Like The Most Beautiful High Of My Life

Eighteen Years Later You And I

If all those years back

I had talked like a bitch

And you not like an asshole

We would have had

Eighteen beautiful years of love together

With my Angel voice and your Devil’s ways

I would have made a lovely Michael’s bride

And you a Don Coreolone

Sometimes they say

Lovers are born star crossed

No matter how much they try to forget

It still dosen’t work

Like Bridges of Madison county

Is your story and mine

Sometimes life has a mind of it’s own

Or maybe it’s God

And you still cannot move on

Knowing fully well you cannot afford to live in the past

Sometimes they say

It’s all written in the stars

Even before you were born

No matter how much they try to forget

Life makes you feel blessed

And you just cannot get them out of your head

Every single person who comes into your life

Pales in comparison and reminda you

Of happiness you have been chasing after

For a very very long time now

No matter how hard you try

You know she is the one

Eighteen years later here we are

You and I were meant to be no matter what

Our story which started a long time ago

And plenty that was left unsaid

But not so fast Lothario

Drving either in the fast lane

Or the parking lot

Either furious or so fast

Let’s take it s easy and slow

After all what else is life all about

If all those years back

I had talked like a bitch

And you not like an asshole

We would have had

Eighteen beautiful years of love together

With my Angel voice and your Devil ways

I would have made a lovely Michael’s bride

And you a Don Coreolone
