Mother Dear

Thu, 08/29/2013 - 10:06 -- Fayann

Mother Dear, you are cold and cruel.

Your presence in my life is like a sharp blade of steel.

You cut deep and precise, but never kill.

Mother Dear, you are selfish and conceited.

You put yourself before your children

You feast while we starve.

You think you are perfect, you never do any wrong.

Mother Dear, you are nasty and mean.

You leave all your trash and clothes for me to clean.

And when I’m done you start to scream and beat.

I did nothing right and never will.

Mother Dear, I’m gone and you want me back.

You cry and scream cause they took us away.

And now you fight to win us back.

Mother dear, we are gone, never to return.

We laughed and smiled while they took us from you.

And now we fight to stay far away.
