My Brother

Same skin, same blood

Same place we came home

Same, woods creeks and rivers,

And paths we would roam

Same clothes, same streets

Same place we would learn

Same books, bags and pencils,

And papers to burn

Same smile, same nose

Same thoughts we would share

Same, arms, legs and fingers,

And mud in our hair
