to my mother

Many words have been unspoken between you and I
memories good and bad unheard of.
A bond that has been torn.
To my mother, I say to you.
I forgive you.
Although this pain still lingers in my chest from the past.
I thank you because if it weren't for you, i wouldn't be the woman i am today.
Negative feelings flows through my entire body.
A voice not recognized nor heard of
A wall built to shield in the negative feelings greater than the great wall of China itself
Realization and being aware of your surroundings has helped tremendously.
I refuse to carry on what i have grown up to.
Im fact i follow the opposite.
All the bad I've been through
All i have felt.
I refuse to follow a cycle that hurts and belittle people.
I stand strong now.
The very core of me knows and sees the kindest of each individual.
So i therefore open my eyes and give a hand to all and spread this feeling of great wonders.
This is something i must do. To prove all those who think growing up in a dysfunctional home and lifestyle doesn't mean you will be the same, after all, we are uunique in pir very own ways.
So to you my mother, i forgive you. I will learn from your mistakes and make you proud that I finally cut the cycle.
