My Only Comfort (just a heads up...this is one of my earlier poems)

When I met you for the first timeWell it broke my heart in two Yet you pulled me through good times and badAnd stayed by my side when I was grievingYou were my only comfort Together we make the perfect pairBut alone neither one can operateYou would say we stick together like glueBut it's not like thatWe're so much more than just thatYou're my only comfort We'll still be stuck to each other in the year 2016'Cause it's not like I'll be going anywhere soonNor will youI love you and I know you love me, tooAnd that's a fact'Cause you-yeah, you-are my only comfort.
