Name

They call to me yelling shouting jeering And this— not my name never never My Name— is all everything I have known. Eyes, pale eyes— follow glance slide past me. Hate, burning burning burning! Everything burns. We walk here surrounded by them. They stare calling calling nothing new, never new. not my name never never My Name. We, Us, Me. All the same to them. We, Us, Me. Not the same At all. Freedom Liberty Equal— not her bell not for Us. We walk they call still calling— not my name never never My Name. Us Our Name Names they give Equal not us they pretend— no voice not us not equal. Out Rights Our Equality My Name.

shewhoknits

I'm a quirky, creative gal who isn't afraid to be just who she is with a mind going a mile a minute and big heart. My default mode is flippant sarcasm, and I love classic rock, cowboy boots, and leather jackets.
