Never Gets Better

Sun, 10/23/2016 - 15:52 -- Kaybarr

"It gets better.

I understand.

I've been there.

Get out more.

Talk about it.

It's just a bad day.

We all have problems.

You just need a friend.

Exercise -

Drink water -

Go outside -"

No! it doesn't help.

Half of what you tell us

Just isn't true,

And the other half, to us,

Is impossible to believe.

It never gets better, you don't understand.

If it was temporary for you, it's not the same.

We can't get out, we can't even get up.

Nobody allows us to talk about it,

Even if we try, going against all that we've learned.

If it is a bad day, it's one after another, for years.

We all have problems, but I have problems, too.

Maybe I do need a friend, but do you volunteer?

We can't! But maybe, just maybe there's a chance

We could somehow, eventually, spitefully get better.
