A Night's Sky

I travel these side walks often scarce.
Hopelessly wondering,
My eyes drift through a dampened fog.
The light taken my sight reverses it.

Oh how I gaze into it.
The brightness that hit.
But, like how many in the sky,
They never equal to the amount of memories shared

The violet horizon.
Colors of passion and lust.
And like its darkened shade,
My soul begins to eclipse.

From the setting west,
To the rising east.
The overshadowed tragedy.
And reflections that which were good.

With a sky so dusk,
Problems in the atmosphere arise.
Like time between meteor showers,
Our relations ceased for the longest length

A faded light as dim as it can get.
Before you could make-out what you saw.
Without you I decay,
You were my northern star.

The only thing keeping me stable in this hectic orbit.
Your world where I could escape.
Now all I see are these sprites of fire .
Low heated fuel that I refuse to see die out!

Such unwanted change.
Such uniqueness with no flaw.
You cant be replaced by another.
The lose of that one star.

Though you may be my universe,
I know space is all you seek.
Where distance is how we depart,
A ship to one alone's heart.

Eating at my mind,
This void of regretted despair.
I will love you still,
Til the galaxies run out of forever's.
