No one Better

No One Better

There is no one better

The one there for the past eighteen

Spent her time in the Army

Defeating severe breast cancer

Running marathons

Raising three children on her own

If you cannot find your own inspiration

Then to whom do we look

Some say to the sky

To our “maker”

But why not our true maker?

The ones who birthed us?

Provided for us as we would otherwise be helpless

Spent countless hours working

To see us prosper and be successful

Who loved us unconditionally

Does not judge us for our looks

But rather our internal image

There is no one better

Than a mother

No stronger love

No stronger connection

No stronger inspiration

There is no one better
