Not anymore

I would walk into a class and see a smile on my teachers face

But not anymore

The smile has been replaced by a frown

And a sense of hatred and dread

I would raise my hand, and my question was welcomed

But not anymore

The question gets ingored, leaving me wondering

The tests used to be a challenge

But not anymore

Now the test was simple, failure was impossible

I used to be challenged in class, have excitement to learn

But not anymore

Walking in to class is dreadful

Pained to see the changes continue

I used to go to school before the changes occured

But not anymore
