not the cocktail

my nose has learned to love the fragrance of smoke intermingled with the sweet redolence of flowers. together the combined aroma takes me away. takes me to a secret place. a getaway. an escape. it takes me to memory lane. it displays images to me. several visuals of our favourite moments. nostalgia. reminiscence. the scent returns me to every unlonely night. every night spent accompanied by you. the smell has become my favorite. smoke and flowers.
