Ode to my Sled

*To be sung to the classic tune of "Jingle Bells"*

Dashing down the hill

I have no way to steer.

My sled is shiny red,

The trees are drawing near.

I'm flying through the air,

The ground is far below,

My heart has frozen to a stop;

I'm falling to the snow.

Jingle bells, jingle bells,

Jingle all the way.

Oh what fun it is to glide

In my bright red plastic sleigh

Jingle bells, jingle bells,

Jingle all the way.

Oh what fun it is to glide

In my bright red plastic sleigh

I get up off the ground.

My nose and ears are red.

Checking all my bones,

I'm glad that I'm not dead.

My boots are full of snow,

Hat full of frozen rain.

I get my sled from the branches, saying,

"Let's do that again!"

Jingle bells, jingle bells,

Jingle all the way.

Oh what fun it is to glide

In my bright red plastic sleigh

Jingle bells, jingle bells,

Jingle all the way.

Oh what fun it is to glide

In my bright red plastic sleigh
