The old Lady

Location

I come to school ready to learn wishing this day could be adjourned,

I'm tired from the day before, a long workout which left me sore.

My teacher is here, why not a sub? She aggravates us all, treats us like scrubs.

I think to myself, "today is not the day". I'm too shy, so I'll never say it to her face.

I look at the clock wishing the time would fly, that's only possible if I was high.

Drugs? I don't need those, being around her keep us all arose. Higher than ever possible, but her attitude is unstoppable.

One day someone will tell her off, say all the things we once thought.

That day will come and she WILL change, but until then we will stay in misery and pain
