To the Ones Who Inspire Me

I'm not inspired by the reckless daredevils nor by the people who fail to care

But I'm inspired by the scholars and storytellers who have wisdom they long to share

I'm inspired by the dreamers who grew their own wings

Not the ones who inherited their ancestors' things

I prefer to give heed to the ones who prayed

To the ones who never forsook their faith

I'm inspired by the writers who never ditched their pens

Regardless of whether they earned a stipend

I'm inspired by the singers who conquered their fears

And the musicians who began again even after many years

I'm inspired by all the artists, all the students, all the creators

And I'm inspired by the ones who are their supporters and not their haters
