"We are only human",
Is what only humans say,
Because they are the only creatures
That would say something like that anyway.

Only humans say they love nature,
So they can cut down trees;
Just to put "Save the Trees" on paper.
Only humans have such stupid irony.

Your children say there are monsters,
And you say it will be alright;
But what if the only monsters
Were you and your terrible fright?

And maybe there are other monsters,
Who say humans are in their room;
Even they are afraid of humans
What's to say you shouldn't be too?

Only humans make so many mistakes
As an excuse to open doors;
My excuse is that I am human,
What excuse will be yours?
