Open the Window

Location

The blustering cacophony from your bedside summoning you to awaken

Though a new day is wondrous, do not be mistaken

By the crawling days and time just barely pressing on

They're only an opportunity for you to make more pros, not cons

Just the imagination of that dreadful homework due tomorrow

Is enough to make one stall and drown in sorrow

If only one changes the way they see those moments

Their opportunity for success is present, not for one that torments

For you may be the oldest you have ever been, hooray!

Though the youngest you will ever be today

So make your alarm a euphonic symbol

That a great day is in your reach, you just need to open the window.
