The Path I Take

A smile on a face

Brings one to my own

I know this is my passion

When selfless works are shown

I want a career

Not just another 9 to 5

Where I impact the lives of others

This is the goal for which I strive

I will work with children, youth and families

Offering medical care and support

Whether in a hospital or at a school

The ball is in my court

Nursing is the direction

I choose to take

I am comforted in knowing

That there are places to travel and memories to make

My future is bright

Though the path unclear

I know the destination

And the journey starts here
