Words on a paper together
Mean nothing, until I have revealed
A feeling that lasts forever.
A work that does not keep my lips sealed,
Is a work that opens my heart,
And grabs me from the start.

A connection cannot be made
Without my complete attention,
And if the character’s feeling start to fade,
I have lost my full retention.
While characters are not the work as a whole
They help me relate and keep my heart full.

While characters can be found in books,
I prefer to write about human rights as my nooks.
No amount of words can express
My feelings so strongly
But I have to confess
I admire a lot of words fondly.

I believe a person is more than their money, gender, or race.
I love people for who they are just simple and pure,
As well as the battles they go through and the challenges they face.
People are who they are,
And they are their own star.

What makes my life a wonderful vitality,
Is the relationships made
With people of differences and commonalities.
This life I would not trade.
