im asked to write a poem for money,

I've got no inspiration.

I need the scholaship though,

so I scrape somthing off of the keyboard.

Elton John tells me about his trip to mars,

And like his transit,

this poem might take a "long, long time."

 

the local theater is open on christmas?

I thought christmas was a time to stop an appreciate yourlife?

shouldn't the fact you get to live in of freedom be enough presents?

maybe people with liberty are too numb to opression,

to truely appreciatewhat freedom really is?

and thats all the news can talk about,

what is happening?

are we going to supress one persons beliefs,

for the sake of somebody elses?

 

why can't we learn to disagree
