Prejudice

Location

In a word filled with hate

So many people take the bait.

We fall to some calamity

And quickly take up eminity.

Rather than forgiving

And continuing with our living

We let our eyes be blinded by pain

Though the we know there is nothing to gain

Justice for each event cannot be defined

But we still seek "justice" all the same.

Soon predjudice and discrimination arises

Which just leads to another crisis

And we wonder why they despise us

And continuously feel distrust.

Not everyone is to blame

For a single person's shame.

We have been through this before

Where a particular race is abhorred.

It becomes like bandwagon

Where everyone just hops aboard.

Stop it while you can.

Please take a stand.

This has got to end

Before the problem deepens.

What happened to love

And peace symbolized by a dove?

People shouldn't be judged

Because their beliefs will not budge

And they come from the same place

As someone we begrudge.
