I've been stuck here
for awhile
Sand, returning me
back to Earth

But the soil has ceased to fall
Time hasn't moved
and the quicksand moves ever so slowly
Now that you're here

I wouldn't mind
sinking with you
For my fears of the other side
have turned... Curious

So lie with me
in the sand
Then I'll know
I'll be ready for the other side

Ignore the escapes
Embrace the smothering sand
For it is what keeps
us bound eternal

Not by faith
Not by ring
Not by promise
Only two hearts below the quicksand

For what lies beneath
will seal us in the
ever-present sherbet twilight of
Yestermorrow
