Quiet?

Be quiet they told me,

you know nothing of life,

"Oh really," I think,

"Then how come I feel the strife,

like hot irons to wounds love has eluded me,

but yet you think that this pain doesn't let it be,

you see the problem with the generation today,

is that we took the torch while you looked the other way,

we were taught to become mechanical devices,

I'm sorry but you didn't think that our cogs were different sizes,

yeah, sure you have a few revolutions more than I,

but we still know what it is like to die,

so back up with the shit while I express my mind,

spirit doesn't fit in a box so leave your opression behind."
