Rain

Rain

I hate it

The smell of mildew left behind

Little droplets pounding down

The puddles soaking my shoes

It's like a barrier

Holding me back

But like everything

It eventually goes away

Disappearing without a trace

Although what we don't notice

Is that it does leave something behind

Hope

Hope for another day

Hope for life

Plants

Animals

Sun

Rain reminds me of memories

They happen

Leave a mark

Then go away

But not forever

But the product is always much more beautiful

Than before

Now I think I understand

I don't hate rain

It keeps the world alive

Green

Luscious

Thriving

Making me and the world brighter

And i am grateful for it

(I felt like writing sorry it's so long)
