The reason why I write is to uncover a story that has yet to be told

To give life to a voice that goes unheard

And to make known of the one who resides in the shadows

The reason why I write is to express the emotions of the meek 

To make clear the thoughts of the confused

And to give back life to the soul who has lost all hope

The reason why I write is to bring peace to the wearied mind

To bring freedom to the one bound by oneself 

And to relieve the pain of the broken hearted  

The reason why I write is to find sanity for the insane

To supply a sanctuary to the spiritual

And bring joy for the morrow

The reason why I write is  because these words are away of escape 

They give a voice to the once silent 

And create a story that can never be foretold
