If nobody's perfect why are we pushed to be?

Remember when we sang "Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so?"

If Jesus loves me, or everyone, then why does "God hate fags?"

Remember when we were told we could be whatever we wanted to be?

If we can be whatever we want then why do we have to "pick something logical?"

Remember when we were told "don't rush to grow up?"

If we don't have to rush to grow up why are we being forced to?

Remember when Selena Gomez said "who says you're not perfect?"

If we're not perfect why are we insulted daily?

Remember when we were told "don't judge a book by its cover?"

If we're not supposed to judge by appearance then why do the ones of us with tattoos or piercings get labeled as "bad people?"

Remember when we were told "sticks and stoned may brake your bones but words will never hurt you?"

If words will never hurt us then why do so many of us commit suicide due to verbal bullying and abuse?

Remember when life was easy and we didn't need to worry about anything?
