Rise Again

A new heart

A new mind

Freshness in You

New life breathed in

to dry bones...

Quaking, shaking

We are awakening

Breathing, trembling

Hearts are softening

To Your touch

Revive what is dead within me

Renew what must be restored

Open what is closed to Your voice

Melt this heart of stone

Back into a heart of flesh

Transform this shriveled body by Your spoken Word

Give life by Your breath

For resurrection is accomplished only through You

When You died, my old life was buried

When You rise

Completion comes

I'm running out of this tomb where I was never meant to stay

I'm coming out to live in Your presence

The Breath of Life isn't once

It's ever-flowing from Your life

We are rising again with You
