Roselyn

I grew in the womb of your earth forming a budding flower

I am a seedling that needs love and maternal  guidance

She lets me grow around storms so I may learn to overcome the most sour

I learn from my mistakes so I may see the blue sky and never fear silence

As life begins to nourish another life begins to slow down

She sacrifices her virtues so mines may bloom bright

Being proud of the earned aged hairs that were once honest brown

No matter my age I still need you even when your descending into the light

Teaching and loving me so I establish purpose and a legacy

Mentoring and nourishment through your unconditional affection

How important you are to me makes heavens work seem effortlessly

Growing and directing my mind to view life in a positive perception

How can I thank such a being who does more than life for me

I strive to do my best to live on for her to make her creation stay humble and proud

I’ll go through heaven and hell and swim across  the Red Sea

To always keep you with me smiling happily, safe, and sound

God created more than another random being from the sky

The creation of the perfectly Imperfect mother

To be imperfect for you and only perfect for only I

Who goes through ugly in her life so that I may never suffer.

Much unexplainable gratitude I have for you being my mother
