The rules of life

How could the world be made a better place?
With cancer cured?
No weapons?
No abused animals?
Or human trafficking?

If I could change this, they'd come back again.
We'd find ourselves faced with the same problems.
There will be sickness.
There will be violence.
There will be pain.
That is the price of living.

Instead, the problems must be turned away at times
To focus on the better.
If we live,
If we love,
If we share,
We can make it a better place.
The world will be fuller for our contributions
And emptier because of those who waste away, watching sickness thrive.

Live a little.
See what happens.
