Safe haven

She is my safe haven

But lately its safe to say she’s fading

Without a doubt I know she’s straining

Because the pieces of her peace she isn’t retaining.

She says she’ll be fine

But I know that’s a very thin lie

And evens though I try

The darkness lives while her happiness dies.
