Self-adoration

Self-adoration … Satire

Job 26:2-3

“How you have helped the powerless!
How you have saved the person who has no strength!
3 How you have advised the one without wisdom,
and abundantly revealed your insight!

Experience so often makes us blind to ourselves.

Accomplishments of the past under gird our pretension.

We become unteachable for we know most everything.

Our own mind becomes the idol encircling that dimension.

It is often said: “He can’t recognize truth standing before him”.

It is an awful state of mind ... called self-adoration.

It is a winding endless road lined with intention,

that has no place to turn around ... the way to deprivation.

Satire

You holler to others ... confused in the distance.

Listen to me and follow: “Yes I know the way”.

Just look at me I’m civilized and very religious

I’m appreciated by God and man ... what more can I say?

I counsel and give advice ... to these poor old wretches.

I even write on paper ... my thoughts and ideas.

I am enjoying how I live ... and know that no one catches

the depth of my understanding ... even though I do appeal.
