Self-justification

Job 28:28

28 And He said to mankind,
‘The fear of the Lord—that is wisdom,
and to turn away from evil is understanding.’”

“The fear of the Lord is wisdom”... Well! Bless America.

“To depart from evil is understanding”... how stupid we must be?

Intelligence heaped on piles ... as youth eats greedily

to fill self with it to the brim ... so they can wheel and deal.

Walking into self-justification making their chosen rules.

Like bobcats or the weasel ... always in search of prey.

Killing to survive ... in its world of fools

whose priorities at best ... die at the beginning of each day.

It is not a pretty picture ... that hangs on every wall

of hearts in depravity ... who likes this decoration?

Gosh! We are messed up ... and all because the Fall

that most say did not happen ... in their lost realization.
