A Sky of Green Stars

My romance is of sun and sea

and all the sky between,

The points of aether moving back

time twice forgot reseen.

A moonlight that is bright as morn

blinds who I am to be

White as white the greens stars shine

Into the mountains deep.

Then to the shore where in the shallows

waves shimmer like jewels,

Rasping wind grates pleasantly

sand grains unwind like spools.

Time does oh so slowly pass

a year of light away,

And space slips out of my fingers

getting farther day by day.
