Slavery The Sequel

Wed, 04/03/2019 - 15:23 -- Ten K

I lay waste to your mind'

I'm controlling m decline

My fall from favor

Something I'll soon learn to savor

It's hard for niggas to advance

in the world of white mans

livin in a big white mansion

Maybe one day they'll look down

look at the unclean side of town

Where niggas kill niggas

and although we aren't cotton-pickers

we're still slaves to a broken system

stuck within an anigma

Not seeing the bigger picture

We conqured being segregated

just to be subjugated

to the power of currency

and even though we're free

we still slave for rich people

It's crazy

We fought and fought for liberty

but still aren't treated equal

pushed into the slums and ghettos

This is slavery the sequel
