So we say

Upon the ship of lonely ways
And lovely loves but endless days
Does float upon waves high and strong
In search of islands too far gone
Oh woe in places long forgot
In restless bodies, blood does clot
And crows do scream and food run dry
And water wet and red so wry
And so the lovers fall to knees
Long straight but bent with such high pleas
With gracious scents--familiar touch
Come sweeter days and memories such
But were those days so high in might
Whilst all they fade in fire's fight
But thoughts do run and so does blood
More swiftly when the lies grow bud
And so we love, or so we say
As nights grow long on endless day
We choose to keep the love we hold
For sweeter memories too would mold
