Sonnet on Love: Lost & Found

Seven billion people walk this world with you.

So many faces you've yet to see, but don't fret

Your one true love is out there... but who?

What if I told you've already met?

She dances on the dance floor without flaw.

I turn away, my acne and glasses she cannot see,

She was the most beautiful girl I ever saw.

A girl like that just doesn't notice a boy like me.

I saw him across the room wearing a black suit.

I'm sure he's starring at my big nose and fat body.

I wish I were brave enough to say, "You're cute."

A boy like that doesn't notice a girl like me.

In order to find the person of your dreams

You must first learn to love yourself, or so it seems.
