Spring Brings Hope

The dark clouds have passed.

No longer do pain and sadness torture.

They're replaced with the buds, blossoms, and beauty of spring.

Death, darkness, and despair are exchanged for

Living, laughing, and loving.

The joyful singing and dancing of the birds warms the cool, morning air.

Peace, happiness and warmth come with spring.

The flowers' pollen, more yellow than ever, reminds me of the better years.

Winter and darkness will never linger, spring will come.

The new warmth of the sun brings new sprouts of hope

From the sickly death of a cold winter's ground.

Spring is powerful and majestic.

It reminds me that there is a chance to return from sorrow,

That there is a chance to renew from death.

Spring brings hope when we need it most.
