Struggle to the Light

Location

Jardines de Ponce
Calle Trebol H-11
Puerto Rico

I still remember my birth

Out of the womb and into the light

With wing soaring through the Earth

Looking up into the night

With curious eyes in the stars

The journey begins with hope

Memories and moments create connections

Dissected, not by microscopes

But the self being in question

Sometimes puting myself down

Yet I never dwindle

No matter the cost

Make sure I light a candle

So I may never get lost

In this sea of uncertainty

I always strive for perfection

To try again, strive to be better

Using my brains and my brawn of creation

To make this poetic letter

For those who really need one
