Supernova Lif

11/10/2014

Faster than

the speed

of light, I combust

supernova—

                          my

                final

        fizzle

. . .

I fade to a hush in the night.

I was one

speck

in a sea of stars

aiming for ultimate impact to leave a chain of white-light

behind.

I             treaded miles of lunar-lit paths

                             dashed         over          many           moons;

every light-year, I reveled.

In the glittering black satin sheets I’ve left

a hole____but I

existed

for a reason.
