Tell Me Who I am

I watch the ink pour out across the predestined lines

My heart, my soul, reflected to me in puddles of letters

Every word my mouth never dared to utter

Screaming out to be heared

So easily written on clean page of a notebook

It is here I find

Who I am

Each word reminds me of where I've been

But the space below

So free and containing so much potential

Reminds me that I am the poet

The constructer of the story of my life

Each step

Another breath

And now

I'm finding who I am
