THESE STREETS

From the rise of the sun to its setting

These streets are never quite

Crowds of people move about this place

Everyone is up to something like their in some sought of race

These streets never sleep

Hustlers parade their finest goods

To attract costumers

And brisk business goes on

Untill the sun sinks and disappears

These streets never sleep

When the sun disappers the night walks slowly into the scene

She walks in with brightly coloured lights by her side

And the young step out to enjoy the wicked pleasures of the night

Found in nightclubs and pubs

These streets never sleep

The aroma of barbecue fills these streets

But the smell of excitement is dominant

And nocturnal businesswomen wait for clients to pick them up

So it is  untill the smile of the morning is seen

These streets never sleep
