Think

Think.

You are a living, breathing, being

In this life of so much meaning

But do you think about your beating

heart?

How does it work?
How are you alive?
Do you know your purpose?

What’s your design?

Do you throw yourself in front of the train

onto the tracks

Just to see how you'll react?

See if you react the fact is

It’s all just an act

So abstract

Or do you stop to smell the rose that grows

Amidst the torrents of rain pouring into the concrete

Because there's so much that we don't know

And if you don't stop the whole world just might close

in on you

See because this life is insane in vain please explain my brain

Hurts.

Am I sane?

Caught up in this game of life -

So much to see so much to

gain.

But when you cry

do you ever think of the complexity of the process of one teardrop falling from your eye?

The emotion behind that single drop,

The power it contains.

Maybe it's the joy of laughter,

Or the grief when your father’s heart stopped.

And somebody once said that I can come up here and I can tell you that I am sad

Or that I can come up here

and I can tell you that I am so numb that when I look up at the blue sky

I feel nothing.

That's the twisted complexity of the mind.

Seeing nothing when there's always something.

Think about the last time you

saw that sky.

Do you even remember?

Or did you commit the crime

Of overlooking it all?

The transduction of light waves into neural signals that fire

and inspire and allow you to see

The hues.

Blue, pink, orange, red, fading into black

LOOK

Do you see it?

Do you see it?

You have to STOP

And think about it.
