thinking

i was thinking

about how low

people can get

and how low

people can feel

so that they believe

they are alone

but are really

surrounded by people

who see them

may not know them,

but willing to lend

a ear or a hand.

i then realized

that when

you delve into a hole

the further you sink

the darker it gets

and the further you sink

the farther away

reality seems.

so that in actuality,

those hurting people,

are standig in dark rooms,

blinded and confused,

they fear things

with no faces

they sit in dark busy rooms

filled with help

but they can't see them

for they have sunk

into a spiteful den
