Thunderous Heart and Electric Ink

Fires blaze across

my heart beats.

With only time

as its witness.

The inferno

spreads through

my veins, each

and every

ink-filled vein.

The blackened zigzags

of lightning

on my skin,

tearing across my body.

Like the quake of the

Earth.

Slow on the surface,

but fast within.

Thunderous heartbeats,

And electric veins.

My charge is low and dead...

With only darkness left.
